Any for-profit or non-profit entity that offers educational programs that meet minimum standards.

What students are eligible to receive credit?

Any public K-12 student is eligible. Public high school students are eligible for credit.

What type of credit can be obtained?

Core and Elective credits can be awarded.

Is there a cost to becoming Learn Everywhere approved?

There is no cost to becoming an approved provider and the application is free!

What information needs to be included in the application?

  • An outline of the proposed program’s goals, and competencies
  • A description of qualifications
  • A description of assessments of student learning outcomes
  • A description of the admissions process
  • A description of facilities

Who approves program applications?

A program approval committee performs the initial review of the provider application. If the application passes review, it is then submitted to and approved by the State Board of Education. The initial approval is for one year, but the applicant may submit a renewal application and, if approved, the State Board may issue a 5-year renewal.

How does a student obtain credit?

Upon successful completion of your approved program, you will issue each student a completion certificate that they will then submit to their school.
