Unfortunately, a Learn Everywhere program is not available in your state.

Your state does have some limited options available for earning credit from out-of-classroom learning.

Unlike Learn Everywhere policies that allow for approved program providers to offer course credit, the programs listed below require the student to submit an application and complete specific program requirements. Students will need to contact their school district administrator in order to take advantage of this program(s).

Academic Credit for Out-of-Classroom Learning

Credit By Demonstrated Mastery

Students may earn credit for a high school course by demonstrating mastery of the content without course enrollment or the minimum of 120 hours required by the Standards for Accreditation of Arkansas Public Schools and School Districts. A school district may apply to the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education to award Credit by Demonstrated Mastery.

Academic Credit for Community Service

School districts may award one (1) academic credit to students who participate in a minimum of 75 hours of “Community Service Learning” at approved locations. Students learn and develop through active participation in organized service that is conducted in and meets the needs of local communities.
