Unfortunately, a Learn Everywhere program is not available in your state.

Your state does have some limited options available for earning credit from out-of-classroom learning.

Unlike Learn Everywhere policies that allow for approved program providers to offer course credit, the programs listed below require the student to submit an application and complete specific program requirements. Students will need to contact their school district administrator in order to take advantage of this program(s).

Academic Credit for Out-of-Classroom Learning

Proficiency (Competency)-Based Credit

School districts/charters may award high school credit to students upon demonstration of mastery of the competencies for a particular course. Credit may be awarded through a proficiency (competency)-based method which requires the establishment of the level of student learning through a demonstration of knowledge and/or skill without regard for the amount of time taken in the learning process or the structure of instructional delivery.

Academic Credit for Community Service

Local boards of education that maintain a high school may include service-learning as part of any course contributing to the satisfaction of credits necessary for high school graduation and provide support for the use of service-learning as an instructional strategy at any grade level to address appropriate areas of current state educational standards for student knowledge and performance.
