Unfortunately, a Learn Everywhere program is not available in your state.

Your state does have some limited options available for earning credit from out-of-classroom learning.

Unlike Learn Everywhere policies that allow for approved program providers to offer course credit, the programs listed below require the student to submit an application and complete specific program requirements. Students will need to contact their school district administrator in order to take advantage of this program(s).

Student driven initiatives for earning high school credit for out-of-classroom learning:

Seat-Time Waivers
§101(9) of the State School Aid Act (MCL 388.1701)

State Superintendent may waive required days and hours of student instruction for alternative education programs or other innovative programs. Alternate programs must be approved by the Michigan Department of Education. Types of waiver programs include: 100% on-line waiver program; blended learning seat-time waiver; and on-line learning without a waiver.
